Betzy and Yura Svistunov, of Boca Raton, Fla., announce the marriage of their daughter, Anna Svistunov, to Chad Barr, son of Vicki and Chas Barr, of Columbia, on May 16, 2008. The Rev. Wilson Onu officiated.

The bride is a graduate of American Heritage High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in international business and a master's degree in finance. She is the assistant director of international admissions at Lynn University.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Oakland Mills High School. He received his doctorate degree in 2005. He is a professor at Lynn University, in Boca Raton.

The ceremony was held in Florida on the beach and was followed by a reception at the Ocean View Cabana Club.

The couple honeymooned in Italy and reside in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
