The Howard County Office on Aging is recruiting volunteers for its 50+ Expo at Wilde Lake High School Oct. 17. More than 100 volunteers are needed to be greeters, clean up and more. Complimentary lunch is included. A variety of shifts are available. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. The Howard County Conservancy is seeking drop-in gardening volunteers on Wednesdays to help maintain the many thematic and native plant gardens on their property.
