Bridgette Pilling and Michael Styczynski

Sue and Brian Pilling, of Corolla, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Bridgette Pilling, to Michael Styczynski, son of Carla and Tom Styczynski, of Clarksville.

The bride-to-be received a master's degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. She is a physical therapist with Easter Seals in Sacramento.

The future groom is a 2000 River Hill High School graduate. He received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ithaca College. He is a technical writer for Aerojet in Folsom, Calif.

An August 2009 wedding is planned.
