Violet Mitchell Cousin, of Columbia, and Sydney L. Cousin Sr., of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their son, Dr. Sydney L. Cousin Jr., to Marlenea Maria Jones, of Seattle.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of the University of Washington, where she majored in interdisciplinary visual arts.

The future groom is a 1992 graduate of Oakland Mills High School and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He graduated from the University of Washington in 2006, where he earned a doctorate degree in molecular and cellular biology and a medical degree from the University off Washington Medical School.

A June wedding in Tacoma, Wash., is planned.

Ryan E. Lancos and Jeremy Reardon

Liz and Kevin Lancos, of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ryan Elizabeth Lancos, to Jeremy Reardon, son of Eileen and Jerry Reardon, also of Ellicott City.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Mt. Hebron High School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University. She is a client service representative with Enterprise Fleet Management.

The future groom is also a 2003 graduate of Mt. Hebron High School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University. He is an auditor with Ernst & Young.

A November 21 wedding is planned.
