Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boivin, of Laurel, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Rose Boivin, to Lt. Richard Marquis Dunn, son of Lt. Col. Ret. and Mrs. Donald Dunn, of Winchester, Va.

A 2004 graduate of St. Vincent Pallotti High School, the bride-to-be graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2008 and is currently pursuing a master's in social work.

A 2002 graduate of Westlake High School in Waldorf, the future groom graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2007 and was commissioned into the Air Force. He is currently pursuing a master's in computer engineering.

An August wedding is planned.
