Cindee and Mike Velle, of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Velle, to Brian Moran, son of Becky and Tom Moran, of Columbia.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Chapelgate Christian Academy. She received a bachelor's degree in dance performance from East Carolina University. She performs for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and teaches dance locally.
The future groom is also a 2004 graduate of Chapelgate Christian Academy. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Grove City College, Pa., and works as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton.
An October 31 wedding is planned in Havre de Grace.
Megan Anglin and Justin Bass
Linda Anglin, of Highland, announces the engagement of her daughter, Megan Anglin, to Justin Bass, son of Ruby Coleman, of Randallstown, and the late Frank Bass. The bride-to-be's father is the late Jay Anglin.
The bride-to-be graduated from West Virginia University and is a sales representative for Bayer Healthcare.
The future groom graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and is the vice president of marketing for Velocity Healthcare.
Jeanne M. Howell and Kyle P. Freeman
Margaret and Thomas Howell, of Silver Run in Carroll County, formerly of Glenelg, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeanne Marie Howell, to Kyle Patrick Freeman, son of Barbara and Walter Freeman, of Freehold, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Glenelg High School. She studied biology at Guilford College, in Greensboro, N.C., and received her master's degree at North Carolina State University in animal science. She received a doctor of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a Ph.D in veterinary microbiology at Washington State University. She is currently employed as a research veterinary medical officer with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Kerrville, Texas.
The future groom studied mathematics at Virginia Tech. He served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant and navy nuclear engineer aboard the USS San Francisco, SSN 711. He received his master's degree in mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and currently employed as an actuary with USAA in San Antonio.
An October wedding is planned.
