Erin K. Triplett and Kevin C. Flaherty

Patricia and Steven Hammer, of Columbia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Kimberly Triplett, to Kevin Christopher Flaherty, son of Teresa and James Flaherty, of Stevensville.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor's degree in health education from the University of Maryland. She is currently the chief executive officer of Elite Assist LLC.

The future groom received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Salisbury University. He is a business account executive for Comcast.

An October wedding is planned.
