Your journal will serve as a lasting record of your unique perspective on the world. No training needed, just bring your own life experiences. *Musical Interlude. June 19, 1 p.m. Free. The Misako Ballet gives a lecture/demonstration, "The Art of Ballet for Seniors." Come behind the scenes of a ballet company to learn how dancers warm up and then move on to more complex movements. *You Can Draw and Paint. Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks sponsors this eight-week class for seniors, ages 55- up, beginning June 16, 9:30 a.m. - noon. Another section is offered beginning June 18, 1:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Fee: $44 per session. Bring watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels or whatever materials you may have and explore your creative potential. Instructor provides direction and instruction for beginners and experienced dabblers. Discuss materials (purchased separately) at first class.

*Maryland Access Point (MAP) -- part of the Howard County Office on Aging, is an information and assistance gateway for older adults, persons with disabilities, family members, caregivers and professionals. Types of information offered include: respite and home care, long-term care, adult in-home evaluation, aging in place/home modifications, retirement/planning for the future, Medicare and health insurance, chronic disease management, housing, transportation, income management, legal services and more.
