Tara Bent and Jesse Trout

Shelley and Mark Bent, of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara Michele Bent, to Jesse David Trout, son of Margy and Jim Trout, of Gambrills.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Salisbury University. She is an orthopedic registered nurse at Mercy Medical Center, in Baltimore.

The future groom is a graduate of Arundel High School and earned a bachelor's degree in history from Salisbury University. He is a career consultant with TechUSA Intel.

An October wedding is planned.
