Laurie and Kurt Daman, of Ellicott City, announce the birth of their son, Max Louis Daman, on Oct. 9 at 4:26 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. His brother is Alex. His grandparents are Gail Schilly, of Pflugerville, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schilly, of Austin, Texas; and Janice and Douglas Daman, also of Austin.
