Debi and Greg Meeks, of Annapolis; Steve Hall, of White Stone, Va.; and Heather Hall, of Chester, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Courtney Hall, to Daniel Patrick Harman, son of Karen and Don Harman, of Columbia.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Broadneck High School and a 2007 graduate of Salisbury University, where she double majored in elementary education and French. She is currently attending Loyola University to obtain her master's of educational leadership. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Arnold Elementary School, in Arnold.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Hammond High School and a 2006 graduate of Salisbury University, where he received a bachelor's degree in health education. He is currently attending McDaniel College and working on his master's of education and curriculum and instruction. He is a health teacher at Mt. Hebron High School.

A July 15, 2011 wedding at the Ceresville Mansion, in Frederick, is planned.
