On Saturday, Oct. 18, Bill (a.k.a. Randy) and Margaret Walton will be walking in the DSAJ 6th Annual Buddy Walk in support of the more than 350,000 individuals with Down syndrome in the USA.
Their grandson, Randy, is now 2 and doing great. He and twin brother Jack go to Lighthouse Learning Center three mornings a week. Margaret and her daughter, Julie Williams will be heading up Team Randy for the Buddy Walk.
Nationwide, more than $9.5 million was raised last year for research, advocacy and to make sure each individual is given the opportunity to reach full potential.
You can help by joining Team Randy for the Buddy Walk. Margaret will be collecting used cell phones and cash donations. Why not see what you can do to help? Go to the Web site.
