Make a clean sweep of fall house cleaning by recycling tech trash at Clarksville Elementary School. The CES Tech Department is collecting printer cartridges, toner drums, cell phones, PDAs and laptops. US Recycling processes the materials and sends funds to the school. Search drawers, closets and wherever you tend to store your empties and old tech items. You could check at the office, too. You’ll be getting rid of clutter, making money for CES and saving the environment all at the same time. To learn more, call 410-313-7050.

Inmates or Intimates? As marriage partners which are you?
A marriage Enrichment Weekend will be presented by Mike and Brenda Aufderhar on Valentine’s weekend, the best and most appropriate weekend of the year for a couples’ retreat and will help identify the differences between being inmates or intimates.
The program, jointly sponsored by Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church and Triadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church, is designed for those who feel trapped in marriage as well as those who are just stuck in small areas. Marriage should be an experience where husband and wife find acceptance, love, fulfillment, romance and excitement.
It should be the most intimate relationship we have. Whether you are in a first marriage, remarriage or blended family, you will find the time well-spent.
The Aufderhars have worked as a team for more than 23 years teaching marriage, parenting and relational issues for international conferences and have hosted weekly radio programs.
Most couples who attend a Marriage Enrichment Weekend believe their marriage isn’t bad, but it could be better. The goal of the weekend is to help you reach your full potential as a married couple
The retreat will be held at the BWI Comfort Inn Conference Center. Check in is Feb. 13, 209, and check-out is Feb. 14. Participants can reserve a room for Saturday night at the group rate.
This weekend is for adults only. It’s a special time exclusively for you and your spouse without any children. The early registration fee is $295. It will be $330 after Dec. 12. Don’t delay. Space is limited. Call Peggy Lee for questions and registration information at 301-317-5428 or 301-801-2344.
