Beth Hazel, a long time kindergarten teacher at Deep Run Elementary School is a breast cancer survivor. “She is an amazing teacher and an inspiration to us all,” say friends and colleagues at the school. She was recently selected as one of two patients to be a poster woman for a new public relations campaign that St. Agnes Hospital began last month.

“It is all about the magnificent program they have from diagnosis in less than five days, meeting with your team of doctors who guide you along the way and of course the nurses who are with you throughout chemo and radiation. It is a positive, organized and compassionate treatment plan.” Beth said. “If I can help get this message across to all women through my media campaign it will be great.” For additional information on the campaign, go to www.DaysNotWeeks.com.

Cathy Pryor, a Teacher’s Secretary at Deep Run stated, “. Beth is such an incredible, lively and beautiful person. They could not have picked anyone better for their campaign.” Please pass on this important medical information, so other’s can benefit from this breast cancer treatment plan at St. Agnes Hospital.
