Students from Deep Run Elementary School earned a second place finish in the spring session of Maryland/DC Stock Market Game™ competition, organized by the Maryland Council on Economic Education.

Congratulations to team members, Chi Chi Adigwe and Leon Nguyen, who started with an imaginary $100,000 and over a ten-week period invested in corporations on the New York, American and NASDAQ markets in an attempt to increase the size of their portfolio.  These students were honored at an awards program held May 27 at Towson University.
