The Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra is excited to present the first concert of its 45th season Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 P.M. The concert will take place in the Price Auditorium at Severn School (201 Water St., Severna Park) and will be conducted by Glenwood resident and orchestra founder Angelo Gatto. Featured guest soloist for the evening will be Giuseppe Nova playing Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1 in G major.
The program will also include Idomeneo Overture by Mozart, Sibelius’ Finlandia and Fugue in G minor by Bach. Tickets are $12 General Admission, and $8 Students and Seniors (available at the door). For more information, call 410 442-5645 or go to the Web site www.myso.info.
