The heat is on

I don’t know if it was the rising temperatures or the loose arms, but I’ve seen some outstanding pitching performances in the past couple games I’ve attended.

I love a pitching gem. For the true baseball purist, a masterpiece on the mound is what hardball is all about.

In the last few days, I’ve seen a one-hitter and several three-hitters. My only request: Can someone please pitch a perfect game?

Andrew took his first job with the Howard County Times as an editorial assistant/obituary writer in 2001. He has written about an array of sports, from rugby to roller skate dancing.
