Convenient Care Walk-In Medical Center, a new urgent care center, opened Oct. 3 in Elkridge.

Staffed by physicians, nurses, physicians assistants and other health-care providers, the center offers unscheduled health care appointments for most non-life-threatening medical issues, according to a news release from the clinic. Most cases will be seen in under an hour, according to the release.

Convenient Care is at 6785 Business Pkwy., in Elkridge. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays every day of the year, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. For more information go to www.mdconvenientcare.com or call 410-782-4300.
