Nancy Warner Tucker, a resident of Ellicott City, was welcomed as a new member of the board for Family and Childrens' Services of Central Maryland, a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian social services organization.

Eric Mauser, local business owner of Play It Again Sports of Ellicott City, was recognized with multiple Sales Excellence Awards at the annual event for Play It Again Sports at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Glenwood-based firm Garden Design Build Group Inc. announced the addition of senior designer Christopher DiVito to its design staff. As a registered landscape architect in the state of Maryland, he brings 10 years of residential design experience to Garden Design Build Group.
