CRI Solutions Inc., which serves credit unions by developing and delivering insurance and financial products, announced that it recently honored its credit union partners for outstanding achievements as part of its Celebration of Excellence Awards. The award recipients included loan officers and MSR's from credit union partners throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington and North Carolina.

The Celebration of Excellence Awards recognized outstanding service over a five-month period for selling and servicing financial products to members at all of the participating credit unions. The ceremony was aboard the Black-Eyed Susan during a boat cruise on the Chesapeake Bay.

CRI Solutions honored the following credit union partners: Arlington Virginia FCU, Baltimore County Employees FCU, Belvoir FCU, Comstar FCU, DC Teachers FCU, District Government Employees FCU, Energy FCU, Fairfax County FCU, Fed Choice FCU, Freedom First FCU, Government Printing Office FCU, HEW FCU, Johns Hopkins FCU, New Generations FCU, NRL FCU, Point Breeze Credit Union, Prince George's Community FCU, Security Plus FCU, Summit Credit Union, Transportation FCU, U.S. Postal FCU, U.S. Senate FCU and WEPCO FCU.

Through Maryland Access Point, the Howard County Office on Aging is offering reverse mortgage counseling to Maryland residents ages 62 and old who are considering this an option. In collaboration with the National Council on Aging, the counseling is targeted to seniors who may be able to pay their everyday expenses but struggle to cover costs of such items as health care and home repairs.
