KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm, with sales of $142 million in 2008 and ranked 88 on the Engineering News-Record's current list of the top 500 engineering firms in the country, has opened an office in Maple Lawn, a new mixed-use community in Fulton.

Members of the site, surveys, water resources, environmental engineering, and federal planning staff from the firm's Laurel office now work out of the Fulton office. KCI's public utilities personnel remain in Laurel.
