A fundraiser dinner at Pasta Plus June 1 netted $13,766, and all the proceeds will go to help the victims of the April 6 earthquake that rocked Italy's Abruzzo province on the east coast. Those who attended the dinner included Mayor Craig Moe, City Council President Gayle Snyder and Ward 1 Council member Donna Crary. Massimo Mazziotti, co-owner of the popular eatery, thanked supporters "who helped make the event such a success, especially those who made exceedingly generous contributions. We never expected to raise as much money as we did."
