The Youth in Agriculture Career Development program won the "Team Communication Educational Piece" award given by the Maryland Association of Extension 4-H Agents.This program has been nominated for a regional award.

The Youth in Agriculture program has been implemented into the career and development programs of the Howard County School system at the high school level.

The Bob Lucido Team, whose offices are in Fulton, announced that it was awarded with the No. 1 position from among all of the top 25 teams for RE/MAX Advantage Realty offices in Maryland.

The Horizon Foundation has approved a grant to help Better BedRest Inc., a nonprofit support, resource and referral service available to women placed on bed rest due to complications of pregnancy, increase its visibility and increase calls in order to reach more women placed on bed rest in the community. "Operation: Blitz Howard County" will allow the community to learn more about the services the organization provides.
