Peter J. Stephan joined Howard Bank as vice president and relationship manager in the Annapolis office.

He joins Howard Bank from Sandy Spring Bank, in Annapolis, where he was also a vice president and relationship manager.

Stephan is a graduate of Siena College, in Albany, N.Y., and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a graduate of the Commercial Finance Association Field Examiners Training School and has completed the Joe Kaplan Intermediate ABL Audit Seminar.

The late Donna Sunderdick, of Columbia, who died in April, was selected as a hometown hero with a nomination for Qdoba Mexican Grill's inaugural online campaign, Qmmunity. The online campaign received more than 250 nominations and more than 57,000 votes, and honors everyday community stars who dedicate time to improving their community. Qmmunity allowed members of the community to nominate a hometown hero and have their friends and community vote.

Adam Nachlas, SIOR, has returned to Manekin as a vice president in the brokerage division. Working from the firm's Columbia offices, he will focus on tenant representation, corporate services and biotech real estate consulting.

Hannah More School, which provides individualized academic, vocational, and therapeutic programs to middle and high school students with disabilities, including autism spectrum conditions, appointed four new board members, including two residents from Ellicott City.

David M. Allison, senior manager for audit and assurance services at Ernst & Young LLP, has more than 10 years of experience in financial audits, portfolio management and tax returns.

Linda Prucino, area specialist in the Office of Special Education of Baltimore County Public Schools, has more than 30 years of experience working with special education programs and departments to provide support and services.

The National Association of Catering Executives elected new officers and directors to its board of directors. Columbia resident Bonnie Fedchock has been elected as executive director.
