Carrie Goodemote and Michael Dunn

Cathy and Jay Goodemote, of Ellicott City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Carrie Goodemote, to Michael Dunn, son of Bonnie and Jeff Dunn, of Ellicott City, on Oct. 4, 2008.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Centennial High School. She received a bachelor's degree in broadcast communication from Elon University. She is currently employed by CommPartners.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Centennial High School. He received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland in 2004. He is currently employed by the Social Security Administration.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Antrim 1884 in Taneytown. The maid of honor was Jennifer Goodemote and the best man was Eric Dunn.

The couple honeymooned in Italy and reside in Ellicott City.

Rebecca E. Keedy and Michael P. Keller

Linda and Gary Keedy, of Ellicott City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Elaine Keedy, to Michael Patrick Keller, son of Linda and Thomas Keller, of Towson, on Oct. 11, 2008. The Rev. Paul Weber officiated.

The bride is a graduate of Mt. Hebron High School. She received a master's degree from the University of Maryland. She is currently the director of accounting and financial reporting for XLHealth in Baltimore.

The groom is a graduate of Towson High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Villa Julie College, now Stevenson University. He is the owner of MPK Productions in Towson.

The ceremony took place at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Baltimore and a reception followed at the Hillendale Country Club in Phoenix. Karen Lavine served as matron of honor and Lauren Keller was the maid of honor; and Thomas Keller Jr. and Daniel Keller served as best men.

The couple honeymooned in the British Virgin Islands and reside in Towson.

Richard A. Valentine and Lisa M. Brendes

Richard A. Valentine and Lisa M. Brendes announce their marriage on Dec. 5, 2008 in Ellicott City.

The bride is employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a senior operations advisor.

The groom is employed with IBM in the Global Business Services division.

In attendance were the bride and groom's mothers, Rena Brendes and Jenny Nelson and the groom's two sons, Christopher and Bryan Valentine served as best men.

The couple resides in Dayton.

Megan L. Hager and Kurt F. Nordhoff

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick C. Nordhoff, of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their son, Kurt Frederick Nordhoff, to Megan Leigh Hager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey H. Hager, of Berwyn, Pa.

The future groom graduated from Mt. Hebron High School and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Delaware in 2006. He currently is an Account Manager for Aerotek in Bowie.

The bride-to-be graduated from Conestoga High School and recieved a bachelor's degree in health behavior management from the University of Delaware in 2006. She currently is an immunization sales associate for GlaxoSmithKline in Philadelphia.

A June 2009 wedding is planned.
