Timothy D. Jennings, of Beltsville, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. He was a four-year member of the Black Knight football team, and will attend Field Artillery School before being stationed in Oahu, Hawaii. He is a Pallotti High graduate.

Justine Marie Italiano, of Laurel, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.

Five Laurel residents graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland: Patrick John Douville, Bachelor of Arts in English; Genevieve Blythe Goerling, Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and sociology and history, cum laude; Alexandra Marie Scott, Bachelor of Arts in sport management, cum laude; Shannon Nicole Slaughter, Bachelor of Arts in art.

The following Laurel residents graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster: Ankhchimeg Byambasuren, Bachelor of Arts in business administration; Zachary Scott Croft, Bachelor of Arts in psychology; Kaitlyn Elaine Giddings, Bachelor of Arts in philosophy-religious studies; Jacob Raymond McCurry, Bachelor of Arts in English; Sharon Denice Calloway, master's in counselor education; Precious DeVonne Carter, master's in curriculum and instruction; Bonnie Rose Cryan, master's in curriculum and instruction; Jody Candler Jankoski, master's in media; and Daksha Tushar Patel, master's in curriculum and instruction.

Mary Bulla Sanchez, of Laurel, was awarded a Master of Science with honors in health care management by Marymount University in Arlington, Va. Employed in Senior Source at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, she is the wife of Carlos Sanchez and mother of Stephanie Sanchez, both of Laurel. Her parents are Don and Jane Bulla, of West Laurel. She graduated from Laurel High School and University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Laurel residents received bachelor degrees from Marymount University in Arlington, Va.: Connie Thompson, interior design major; Susan Young, nursing major; Sophie Ikegwuono, nursing major; and Ifeanyi Okwumabua, nursing major.
