Air Force Airman Andrew D. Rust graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio. Rust earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Norman Rust, of Arbutus.

The airman is a 2006 graduate of Chapelgate Christian Academy, in Marriottsville.
