Centennial High School recently formed a new partnership with The Arc of Howard County.

The partnership, which was formalized June 18, is intended to help Centennial students develop leadership skills and serve the community, according to a news release from the school system.

Through the partnership, Arc staff will work with members of Centennial's Horizon Club regarding opportunities to volunteer with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as the challenges involved in such work. The student club will look into fundraising projects to support The Arc.

Qualified students may also be eligible for internships at The Arc.
