Discounted amusement park tickets available at rec offices

Howard County Recreation and Parks is offering residents the chance to get discounted tickets to area theme and water parks this summer.
One-day passes and some season passes are available for Busch Gardens, Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags America, Water Country USA, Kings Dominion, Dorney Park, Hershey Park, Dutch Wonderland and Sesame Place. Restrictions apply to some of the tickets.
To buy tickets, go to Recreation and Parks headquarters, at 120 Oakland Mills Road, in Columbia, or the Glenwood Community Center, at 2400 Route 97, in Cooksville. Tickets also may be purchased over the phone from those two locations by calling 410-313-7275 or 410-313-4840.
