Michael G. Schoenen has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky.

The cadet is a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Cambridge.

He is the son of Gerry and Pat Schoenen, of Ellicott City.

The cadet graduated in the year 2000 from Mount Hebron High School.

Alexander E. Styrcula graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, in Tacoma, Wash.

The cadet is a student at the University of Maryland, College Park.

He is the son of Andrew Styrcula, of Columbia, and the brother of Trent Styrcula, of New Boston, Texas.

Styrcula is a 2006 graduate of Wilde Lake High School.
