During this holiday time, I especially love driving around admiring the beautiful Christmas light displays in our neighborhoods. Of course, I look forward to the towering glowing Christmas tree on Montgomery Street, courtesy of the Kluckhuhn family. We are all very grateful to the Kluckhuhn family for this lovely treasure every year at Christmastime.

If you discover a fabulous light display in West Laurel, e-mail me at cbfolkswl@aol.com and report your sighting so I can share it in my next column. Give me a short description and the street name. We could have our own West Laurel light display tour.

If you are new to the neighborhood, drive down Brooklyn Bridge Road towards Laurel and watch for the Kluckhuhn's tree on the right side where the road changes to Montgomery Street in Old Town. And look for the white-light deer that watch the tree from across the road.

This week begins a special holiday for our good neighbors who celebrate Hanukkah. Happy Hanukkah!
