Neighbor Ride offers free rides to seniors to help them stay independent and active. Since I last mentioned them in this column, the demand for their services has increased many from North Laurel. What a great way to help out you community.
Offer to become a driver and serve those who need a friendly ride. This will also help you out as well. Neighbor Ride is now part of the Give a Day Get a Day program that offers you a free one-day pass at Disney as a thank you for serving your community.
For more information about their services, or to volunteer e-mail Rosemary Noble at volunteer@neighborride.org or Colleen Konstanzer community@neighborride.org at call 410-884-7433.
