Dining deal aids restoration in historic Ellicott City

Tersiguel's, on Main Street in Historic Ellicott City, will be donating 10 percent of all prix fixe lunch and dinner sales to the Ellicott City Restoration Foundation Inc., through Feb. 28.

Tersiguel's and ECRF have a long history of mutual support and collaboration, always looking to better the Ellicott City historic district, ECRF president Ed Lilley said. This year, the Tersiguel family wanted to introduce the Tour de France to diners by featuring one of the twelve regions of France each month on its pre-fixe menu.

Each month, 10 percent of the Tour de France menu sales will be donated to a nonprofit organization, starting with the ECRF, in recognition for the work the foundation has done through the years to preserve and revitalize the Ellicott City Historic District, Lilley said.

Registration open for arts showcase held next month

It is an opportunity to meet and view the work of more than 45 performing artists, each presenting an eight-minute excerpt of his or her work, and to meet other individual visual, literary and performing artists' programs who will be on-hand to discuss their programs with attendees. The registration deadline is Feb. 26. For registration information, call the Howard County Arts Council at 410-313-2787 or e-mail info@hocoarts.org.
