Cpt. Andrew Kelly, son of Lorraine Kelly, of Columbia, and John Kelly, of Towson, returned from his second deployment to Iraq.

Kelly served as the military liaison officer for the 82D Airborne Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team and the embedded Provincial Reconstruction Team for Western Anbar Province.

He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Action Badge and the Army Commendation Medal.

A graduate of the Citadel and Calvert Hall College High School, he plans to join the Foreign Service.

Army Pvt. Grant Blush graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, in Lawton, Okla.

He is the son of Nina Blush-Riley, of Laurel.

Blush is a 2008 graduate of Reservoir High School.
