Jay Voris, of Elkridge and son of Bruce Voris and Wendy Ng, has been named to the dean's list in the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. Voris, a freshman majoring in optics, is a graduate of The Learning Community in Annapolis.

The following Howard County residents have been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa.: Pappas Lauren, of Dayton; Oweis Noor, of Ellicott City; and Sfekas Alexandra, of Ellicott City.

Douglas Meyer, of Ellicott City, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Norwich University, Northfield, Vt.

Elizabeth Vespa, of Marriottsville and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Vespa, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Roanoke College, Salem, Va.

Laura Neugebauer, of Elkridge, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pa.
