Some 500 to 1,000 visitors each day of the two-day festival -- some coming from as far as Alexandria, Va. -- trekked to Savage for the multifaceted gathering, according to Jeanie Burns, president and CEO of BMC Group, the marketing company that helped organize the event.
Many shops at the Mill had a full schedule of events during the festival, including free appraisals at the Antique Center, which was also celebrating its 20th anniversary.
"That was just a really hot deal," Burns said of the free service.
Additionally, many stores held demos. Mike's New York Deli conducted a demo titled, "The Art of Grilling" on Sunday.
Other activities included a beer tasting at Ram's Head Tavern.
Art Jam is celebration of music and art and also serves to raise awareness about the Mill and all it offers, according to Erin Graf, account executive at BMC Group.
There was also an opportunity to take "funky" photos with your dog at All Dog and a fashion show held by Yolanda Voss and Essential View Optical.
Music played continuously throughout each day by several acts, including bluegrass band Cuttin' Grass and the Foreman Jazz Trio.
"They were just fabulous," Burns said.
"It was definitely a family event," Burns said, adding that there were clowns and face painting available.
