The following students have been awarded scholarships for college from the Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies: Kelly E. Grob, of Ellicott City; Payal V. Patel, of Ellicott City; and Ayeeshik Kole, of Columbia.

Atiya Rideout, of Columbia, is currently on a four-week deployment supporting the American Red Cross, the United Way and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the wake of flooding in Franklin, Ind. Rideout was one of 11 AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps members who were called up on June 14 for this assignment.
