Faith Johnson, of Columbia, daughter of Jenifer and George Johnson, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Emerson College in Boston.

Daniel A. Janis, of Columbia, has been named to the dean's list at Bryant University for the spring semester.

Alexander R. Meyer-Stokes, of Columbia, graduated cum laude from McDaniel College on May 24, 2008 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in music.

Allyson Mizia, daughter of Donna Mizia, of Columbia, was recently accepted to into Lambda Pi Eta, the communications honor society at Salisbury University.
