Studio Dans, a dance studio located in Marriottsville, recently held its second annual recital, "Made in the U.S.A." May 10. One hundred and ninety-three students danced in three shows to sell-out crowds.

The recital included everything from preschoolers dancing to "Yankee Doodle Dandy" to a lyrical piece performed to the national anthem by Studio Dans teen jazz dancers. Highlights included 22 pre-teen ballroom students dancing to "Sing, Sing, Sing" and a fox-trot duet performed by Lindey Allen and Brian Mowrey.

Not to be outdone, more than 20 Studio Dans dancers ended the show with a showstopper -- "You Can't Stop the Beat."
