College students living in District 21, which is represented in the state senate by Sen. James Rosapepe, can apply for the state senate scholarship program, which distributes awards of $400 per student. Each state senator is allocated funds for scholarships to students in their district who attend Maryland colleges. The awards are automatically renewed every year until graduation.

To apply for a senate scholarship, e-mail 21stScholarship@gmail.com or call 301-858-3141 to request an application. The deadline to return the application is Monday, July 27.
