Scotchtown Hills Elementary is holding a "Chick-Fil-A Night" on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Anyone visiting the Chick-Fil-A at Route 1 and Contee Road and mentioning that they are with Scotchtown Hills Elementary will have 20 percent of the proceeds from their meal donated to Scotchtown Hills.

Prince George's County school Superintendent William Hite released his proposal for redistricting of county schools at the Nov. 12 school board meeting.

The most significant change will be the transformation of Langley Park-McCormack Elementary into a middle school and Buck Lodge Middle School into a pre-K through eighth grade format.

There were no significant changes to any Laurel-area schools. To view the details of the proposals, go to www1.pgcps.org/phasetwo.
