Alexander A. Tong, of Ellicott City, was named to the Rhodes College Honor Roll for the 2009 fall semester. The school is in Memphis.

Kallie Fischer, of Ellicott City, made the dean's list for the fall 2009 semester at High Point University, in High Poit, N.C. She is a graduate of the Maryvale Prepatory School, in Brooklandville.
