Boordy Vineyards will once again host its annual Wine & Herb Festival Saturday-Sunday, May 30-31, 1-5 p.m., at 12820 Long Green Pike. As in years past, this event will feature wine tastings, vineyard wagon rides, a sale of herbs, and grilled food. Visitors can also witness a living history encampment, enjoy organic bread and handcrafted cheese, and peruse items brought in by craft vendors. Taste of Poland
The Polish Community Association of Maryland will host the 36th annual Polish Festival Friday-Sunday May 29-31, at Patterson Park's Pulaski Monument (at Eastern and Linwood avenues). On the bill will be local, regional and national entertainment by polka bands, ethnic food and such Polish crafts as hand-made dolls and afghans. Wine al fresco
The Howard County Conservancy non-profit environment education center and land trust will host a Wine in the Garden event on Thursday, May 28, 5-8 p.m., at 10520 Old Frederick Road in Woodstock. Blues in Hagerstown
The Western Maryland Blues Fest takes place Thursday-Sunday, May 28-31, in downtown Hagerstown.
