Howard Community College will host a faculty concert by clarinetist Jane Winer Fri., May 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Monteabaro Recital Hall at the Horowitz Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. Winer will be joined by viola faculty Joan Bob and piano faculty Wei-Der Huang. Howard Community College's music department will mark Student Concert Week May 4-8 with a series of 7:30 p.m. concerts in the Monteabaro Recital Hall at the Horowitz Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. It kicks off with a performance by the Howard Community College Singers, directed by Judith Cavendish, Sun., May 4.

Howard County-based singer-songwriter Iris Ann Hirsch will perform music of the Baby Boomer generation Thu., May 1, 8 p.m., at Historic Oakland (5430 Vantage Point Road).
