The Sundays at Three concert series returns this weekend with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra violinist Wonju Kim and several other musicians on hand to close the season Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. in Columbia's historic Christ Episcopal Church (6800 Oakland Mills Road, opposite Dobbin Road). Kim will perform with her sisters, Wonhi Kim on cello and Wonmi Kim on piano. Also performing will be Kim's brother-in-law Willem Blokbergen, who is the concertmaster of the Bologna (Italy) Symphony Orchestra. Rounding out the bill will be BSO assistant principal violist Noah Chaves and BSO principal double bass Robert Barney.
The group will perform Mendelssohn's Piano Sextet in D, Op. 110, and Schubert's "Trout" Quintet, Op. 114. Admission is $15 general, $10 for unaccompanied full-time students, and free for anyone under age 18 accompanied by an adult. Call 410-992-0145 or go to www.SundaysAtThree.org.

The Baltimore Theatre Alliance will hold its 13th annual auditions Sat., May 17, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Mon., May 19, 6-9 p.m., at CENTERSTAGE, 700 N. Calvert St. in Baltimore. This event gives local actors the opportunity to audition for the majority of Baltimore-area theatres at once.
