The City of Baltimore will hold another Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower Open Studio Tour on Saturday, July 26, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at 21 S. Eutaw St. The 97-year-old building has been turned into studio space for local artists and the tour will showcase artists' studios and the newly renovated venue. Admission is free. The American Numismatic Association will hold its 117th anniversary convention, the World's Fair of Money, starting Wednesday, July 30 and wrapping up Aug. 3, at the Baltimore Convention Center. This event is billed as the nation's largest coin show and will feature numerous dealers, educational exhibits and activities for young collectors. Admission is free. Coins in Timonium

The Maryland State Fairgrounds will play host to the Maryland Coin and Currency Show, happening Saturday-Monday, July 26-28, in the Exhibition Hall. This event will bring together more than 70 dealers offering rare coins, currency, tokens and medals. There will also be jewelry dealers, educational exhibits and meetings of local coin clubs. Hours are Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is free, Call 443-623-7025.

A froggy year

The National Aquarium is celebrating the Year of the Frog with a Froggy Fridays event July 25, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. On the bill will be special presentations on the amphibians as well as storytelling, information on the possible extinction of the species, and a chance to see the exhibit "Frogs! Map to the treasure

The Walters Art Museum will host a lecture, Treasures from the Realm of the Queen of Sheba, on Saturday, July 26, 2 p.m., in the Graham Auditorium. The fully illustrated talk will be given by Dr. Robert Steven Bianchi, chief curator of the Learning Center Museum in Lawrenceville, Ga., and the Museum of Ancient Egyptian Art in Japan. More grapes

Those who missed the Great Grapes! Wine, Arts & Music Festival in Baltimore County recently can take in the Annapolis version Saturday-Sunday, July 26-27, at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The event will serve up wine from Italy, Australia, California and Spain as well as arts and crafts. Musical acts include King Teddy, Judo Chop Rock and Captain Quint. Carroll's fair

The annual Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair will happen July 26-Aug. 1 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds, at 700 Agriculture Center in Westminster. This event is the state's largest free fair and will feature animals, live entertainment, home cooking and a variety of agricultural exhibits.
