*Palestine Today: The People and the Chances for Peace. Jan. 17, 3:30 p.m. Pam Rasmussen will show slides and discuss her recent trip to Palestine as a volunteer with the International Solidarity Movement. She will also address the current situation in Gaza. She is an active member of Peace Action Montgomery, and this was her second trip to Palestine.

*Black-Eyed Susan Book Club Third Tuesday, 4-5 p.m. Elect the winner of the Black-Eyed Susan Book Award given to Maryland students' favorite books each year.
