Hayshed Lane, 8700 block, between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and 10 a.m. Aug. 9. Front door to residence pried open. Cash stolen from a first-floor bedroom.

Stanford Boulevard, 8800 block, 4:51 a.m. Aug. 8. Front door glass smashed to Raimondi's Florist. Unknown if anything was stolen.

Stanford Boulevard, 8800 block, 4:20 a.m. Aug. 8. Front door glass smashed to Hanamura Japanese Restaurant. Unknown if anything was stolen.

Kerry Hill Court, 7300 block, 10:52 p.m. Aug. 7. A 1999 yellow and silver Lexus stolen.

Route 29 and Stevens Forest Road, 9:28 p.m. Aug. 7. Male was riding his bike on the footbridge when a group of males and females assaulted him and took his wallet, cell phone and bike lock.

Oakland Mills Road, 7000 block, 4:42 a.m. Aug. 7. Front glass door to Koko's Deli smashed. Cigarettes and cash were stolen.

Tamar Drive, 8200 block, 3:43 p.m Aug. 6. Pool house entered, safe stolen. Key used to gain entry to pool house.

Stevens Forest Road, 5700 block, 3:04 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained to residence.

Harpers Farm Road and Cedar Lane, 2 p.m. Aug. 6. Person was approached behind the Safeway by a man who implied that he had a gun and demanded money. Person gave the man cash.

Alderleaf Place, 5800 block, 12:26 p.m. Aug. 5. Two males entered a residence and threatened resident with a handgun. Laptop computer and four cell phones stolen.

West Columbia

Daystar Court, 10300 block, 12:59 a.m. Aug. 10. Several males kicked open the door to residence. Resident was knocked down trying to keep the door shut. Males then fled on foot.

Harness Court, 5800 block, 3:37 a.m. Aug. 9. Resident was sleeping when he heard a noise downstairs. When he went downstairs, he found his watch and ring missing. They were located in the grass in front of the residence. Unknown tool used to cut screen to gain entry.

Cedar Lane, 5500 block, 11:01 p.m. Aug. 8. Male was outside his residence when a male and female approached him and assaulted him. Cash stolen before the suspects fled the area.

Harpers Farm Road, 5400 block, 7:46 a.m. Aug. 7. Several vehicles in the BP gas station parking lot were broken into. No further information.

Elliots Oak Road, 5200 block, 1:53 a.m. Aug. 7. Male was standing outside his vehicle in the parking lot of Longfellow Pool when he was approached by a man who pulled a gun and demanded his money. Man took his cell phone and pocket knife and fled on foot.

Little Patuxent Parkway and Wincopin Circle, 9:32 p.m. Aug. 6. Female sitting on bench at lake front was approached by five to six males who grabbed her purse and fled on foot. Purse contained cell phone, credit cards, identification cards and earrings.

Whitewasher Way, 10300 block, between Aug. 1 and Aug. 5. House under construction entered, copper tubing stolen.
