The following is compiled from police reports. The Howard County Times includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

Elkridge/Jessup

Marshalee Drive, 6000 block, 12:45 p.m. Dec. 28. Two cash register drawers pried open at Pazani Pasta, Pizza and Panini; $150 stolen from each register.

Old Waterloo Road, 6700 block, 3:56 a.m. Dec. 27. Person attempted to enter residence, later arrested.

Ducketts Lane, 7000 block, 11:55 p.m. Dec. 24. Resident heard someone cutting the screen of her apartment window. She went outside and apparently scared the person away.

Ducketts Lane, 6000 block, 12:58 a.m. Dec. 21. Two females returned home and were confronted at gunpoint by two males. One of the males attempted to take the female's purse but she resisted. The second male struck her in the head with his gun. The males took the purse, which contained a small amount of cash, a music player and a cell phone, and fled.

Douglas Legum Drive, 6800 block, between 5:08 p.m. Dec. 20 and 7:35 a.m. Dec. 21. Front door to The Body Factory shattered. Cash and energy drinks stolen.

Furnace Avenue, 5700 block, between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 21. Storage area door pried open at Elkridge Furnace Inn. Leaf blower and snow blower stolen. Two males were observed in a pickup truck.

Montgomery Road, 5000 block, 8:29 p.m. Dec. 20. Two females were at home when a man attempted to force his way into the residence. The man repeatedly demanded entry and stated he had a gun. The man then jumped in front of a car and was struck by the car. He then attempted to open the car door but the driver fled. Man later arrested.

Ducketts Lane, 7100 block, between 1:50 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 20. Resident discovered his video game system and several DVDs missing. A man and a juvenile were arrested.

Mayfield Avenue, 7800 block, between 8 p.m. Dec. 19 and 1 p.m. Dec. 20. Second-story window appeared damaged by a thrown object. Ground-floor window was cracked and showed pry marks around the frame. No entry was made.

Railroad Avenue, 5600 block, between 2 p.m. Dec. 19 and 2:45 p.m. Dec. 20. Power tools and other tools removed from residence, yard and crawl space.

Route 1, 6600 block, 2:46 p.m. Dec. 19. Trailer and all-terrain vehicle stolen from Performance Motor Sports.

Ellicott City

Red Branch Road, 9100 block, 3:09 p.m. Dec. 28. Three teenage boys stopped by two males and one female, who offered to sell them marijuana. When they declined, they were assaulted and their wallets stolen.

Teal Wing Court, 4800 block, 3:36 a.m. Dec. 27. Approximately 20 teenagers entered an unlocked vacant apartment. Nothing stolen. Alcohol and trash left behind. Teenagers fled after the incident was reported.

Centre Park Drive, 8800 block, between 11:20 p.m. Dec. 27 and 11:15 a.m. Dec. 28. Front door to Upper Crust Pizza found slightly ajar by owner. Cash stolen.

Birmingham Way, 10700 block, 6:57 p.m. Dec. 25. Bronze 1985 Chevrolet Corvette stolen.

Centre Park Drive, 8800 block, 6:27 a.m. Dec. 25. Large rock thrown through window of Columbia Palace Wine and Spirits. Cash stolen.

Montgomery Road, 4300 block, 12:37 p.m. Dec. 24. Male was in Target parking lot in the Long Gate Shopping Center when a vehicle pulled in and a man got out. The man pulled a knife and demanded money and the bags the victim was carrying. Cash and bag containing a T-shirt stolen. Man with knife got back into his vehicle and left with the driver.

Town and Country Boulevard, 8800 block, between Dec. 15 and Dec. 23. Apartment entered with no force. Wrench set and watch stolen.

Baltimore National Pike, 9400 block, 9:05 p.m. Dec. 25. Woman entering her vehicle when a male approached her with a knife and demanded her purse. Man fled with purse, which contained credit cards and a driver's license.

Scarlet Sage, 4200 block, 11 a.m. Dec. 24. Resident returned to his residence and saw someone leaving through the rear window. The person drove away in a pickup truck.

Stonehouse Drive, 8600 block, 6:19 p.m. Dec. 23. Basement door and window broken.

Queens Camel Court, 10200 block, 5 a.m. Dec. 20. Female sleeping on a couch next to the door leading to the garage when she awoke and discovered a person with a flashlight. The person left. No apparent forced entry and nothing stolen.

Court House Drive, 3500 block, 4:18 a.m. Dec. 20. Acquaintances of resident's son tried to force entry through window.

Eliza Dorsey Lane, 2000 block, between 3 p.m. Dec. 17 and 12 p.m. Dec. 19. House under construction entered. Cooktop stolen.

Ilchester Road, 5000 block, between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18. Door pried to gain entry into house under construction. Toilet fixtures, gas grill and furnace equipment stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

Northgate, 9300 block, between 5 p.m. Nov. 28 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 28. Attempt made to pry open rear basement door. Molding around window pried off and the screen pried out.

Sylvan Still, 9500 block, 12:56 p.m. Dec. 24. Red 1999 Honda Civic stolen.

Washington Boulevard, 9100 block, between 10 a.m. and noon Dec. 23. Entry made to residence by forcing open rear door. Television, laptop computers, game consoles, camcorder, digital camera and DVDs stolen.

Baltimore Street, 9000 block, 6:35 a.m. Dec. 23. Man entered Seven Star Mart, pulled a handgun and demanded money. Clerk complied, and the man also stole a pack of cigarettes.

Birkenhead, 8700 block, 8:36 a.m. Dec. 22. Green 1998 Dodge Stratus stolen.

Overton Drive, 9600 block, 8:43 p.m. Dec. 21. Resident arrived home and found the back door forced open.

North Second Street, 10000 block, 1:30 a.m. Dec. 20. Officer responded to Laurel Pawn for an alarm and found front window shattered. Watches, bracelet and laptop computer stolen.

Clarksville/Fulton

Wolf Creek Court, 6800 block, 1:22 a.m. Dec. 28. Beige 2006 GMC Yukon Denali sport utility vehicle stolen.

Clarksville Pike, 12400 block, between 6 p.m. Dec. 27 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 28. Door pried open to Clarksville Nail and Spa. Cash stolen.

Wolf Creek Court, 6800 block, between 5:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Dec. 24. Television set stolen from residence. No sign of forced entry.

Limerick Court, 6500 block, between midnight and 5 a.m. Dec. 23. Homeowner left garage door open and when she arrived home, she discovered a purse she had left in a vehicle was rummaged through and four credit cards were missing. Wine was also missing from a vehicle.

West County

Burntwoods Road, 14000 block, 11:58 a.m. Dec. 26. Police responded to Glenelg High School for reports of two white females walking around the school. No one located inside.

Bucks Ridge Court, 13100 block, 9:12 p.m. Dec. 24. House just purchased but when checked, all the appliances were gone.

Frederick Road, 16100 block, between 5 p.m. Dec. 19 and 9 a.m. Dec. 23. Storage yard entered. Snowplow and hydraulic pump stolen.

Gaither Road, 700 block, 1:30 p.m. Dec. 20. Resident heard loud banging at her door and retreated to her bedroom. Resident then heard the front door being forced open and saw someone she knew in her bedroom going through her jewelry. Resident confronted the person, who fled the home and left in a vehicle.
