The following is compiled from police reports. The View from Ellicott City includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

Hobsons Choice Lane, 10100 block, between Dec. 30 and Jan. 5. Rear basement door to residence bowed at top. No damage or pry marks.

North Ridge Road, 3000 block, 11:40 p.m. Jan. 4. Two males were observed in the Heartlands facility. A wallet which contained credit cards and a license was stolen from a purse. Males had entered through unlocked exterior door.

Saint Johns Lane, 4000 block, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 3. Police responded to residence for report of female banging on windows of residence. Female told police she lived there and had identification inside. Person who called the police said the female was an unknown person. Female refused to leave, became disorderly, and was arrested.

Webbed Foot Way, 4900 block, 8:39 a.m. Jan. 2. Black 2004 Lexus stolen.

Baltimore National Pike, 10200 block, 10:11 a.m. Jan. 1. Two vehicles missing from Sunoco Pine Orchard: a gray Cadillac last seen approximately six months ago and a blue Buick last seen two weeks ago.

Kingsbridge Road, 13100 block, between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 29 and 9 a.m. Dec. 30. Homeowner left garage door open overnight and unknown person entered the residence through a door from the garage leading into the residence. Watch and cash were stolen.

Brampton Road, 4900 block, between Dec. 29 and 4:30 a.m. Dec. 30. Residents returned home and found some food items stolen and some property destroyed.
